Witness was made for Global Game Jam 2014, in which our prompt was to make a game that focuses on the theme: "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." Creator Jon Graham came up with the idea of a murder-mystery scenario where each witness perceived the crime in reflection of their own personality. Thus, we decided to make a narrative-based game centered around comparing the testimonies of each witness. The game went from concept to publishing in two days. After some bug testing, typo fixes, and general changes to the game, we have the final version of Witness completed, and available on Android tablets! The game was made with help from the UW-Whitewater GAMED organization, a collective of student game developers from the University of Whitewater - Wisconsin. The Witness team consists of Jon Graham, Jacob Schliean, and Max Mallory.
