過去和未來是兩個玩家進行操作，看到的畫面也不同；
1、過去的玩家進入游戲后打開信件，查看信件內容并且得知年份1926；打開桌子右上角的盒子可以得到火柴；在桌子的上方可以拿到蠟燭；
2、向右轉兩次場景，調查凳子上的物品，可以獲得道具【冷湯】
3、查看墻上的畫并且將線索告訴未來，由未來玩家完成盒子解密，獲得新的線索。使用未來的線索打開地上的盒子可以獲得煤塊；
4、將煤塊放進房間的爐子里，使用火柴點燃。由未來的玩家查看時間并告知，回到最初的房間，將墻壁上的時鐘調整到正確的時間即可。
